Ergonomic Workstation

The continuous and repeated use of industrial trucks or forklifts in non-ergonomic conditions, generates musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs) for the operator.

It is therefore important to provide operators with materials that take ergonomics into account.

The use of ergonomic carts and thinking about all the movements accomplished during the day must therefore be at the heart of the concerns.

This is why ISIELOG's Team regularly suggest to their customers to follow these recommendations:

1. Limit efforts during manual handling

The CNAMTS recommends that men and / or women do not weigh more than 15 kg.
2. Limit the height of the pallets

The CNAM recommends a maximum loading height of 1.8 m. The person who prepares / unloads the articles on the pallets thus preserves
a good ergonomic position.
3. Favor ergonomic carts

They will promote an adequate driving position and optimal peripheral visibility for more safety.

The productivity and attendance of forklift operators is directly linked to the prevention of musculoskeletal disorders when using carts or handling loads. Also, it is very important to best equip your carts with mobile and embedded computing and to adapt the flows to avoid MSDs.

Permanent work is therefore carried out preventively with CHSCT managers or even occupational medicine, in order to adapt the best job ergonomics for each worker's profile.
